Dear Patients and Friends,
I want to thank you for being a part of our dental family. Both with joy and sadness, we are closing our dental practice on January 6th, 2023 after almost 40 years of dedicated service. I will be 73 in March and it is time for me to retire on a high note. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to provide dental care to you. So many of you have become special friends. It has been a joyful, fulfilling ride.
After not being able to find the right person to take over my practice at Padre Town Center, I am thrilled to merge the practice with a long time colleague, Dr. Wayne Sutton. We have a similar dental caring philosophy while striving for perfect treatment. Actually Wayne’s mother, as an incredible dental consult, helped my wife Mary Alice and I start the practice from scratch in 1985.
Dr. Sutton graduated from my prestigious alma mater UCSF in 1997 and was awarded the “Clinical Excellence Award”. He also helped me by working in my practice during the time that I was dealing with cancer in 2005. Dr. Sutton is a leader in Cosmetic, Reconstructive and Implant Dentistry using sedation as needed to help his patients.
Dr. Sutton has two practices with the help of his dental associates, Dr. Jerry Liu and Dr. Raion Sabo.

January 2023 will be a transition period. All of your records will be transferred electronically. Dr. Sutton’s office will be contacting you to schedule your regular continuing care appointments. You can decide to have care in Rohnert Park or Santa Rosa, whichever is more convenient for you. Records will be interchangeable between the two offices.
Laura wanted you to know how privileged she has felt getting to know each of you and earning your trust while taking care of your dental hygiene needs. She regrets not being able to finish out this year, but offers her gratitude to each of you personally. Vickie, Barbara, Michelle, Laura, Mary Alice and I hope that we will run into you around town. Please stop and take a few moments to say hello and catch up. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
